"The body's ability to heal itself is astonishing to me. I love to be a part of this process."

Life can be so fast paced and in our busy lifestyle it’s easy to forget about fitting in much needed time for ourselves. Whether an athlete or someone who sits all day or somewhere in between, it is so important to make time for self-care. If I can help my client's body on the way to recovery or just to simply help them relax and reset, I feel accomplished

 Hey there

I'm Harmony Wright and massage has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. As children our mom would use massage and pressure points at any complaint of discomfort from her five children. It was a part of our family's “medicine cabinet.”

When I was only ten years old I remember noticing the receptionist at my dance studio always looked stressed and tired. I soon made a routine of massaging her shoulders while waiting for my dance classes. I realize now that I had a desire from a young age to care for and help others with my hands.

“Massage is a profession that chose me. It’s a part of who I am.”

Growing up in Hawaii on a farm and living close to nature has taught me connectivity and appreciation for life in all it's forms. This simple way of living has helped me find mindfulness, appreciation, respect and reverence for life and all it's amazing wonders!

Kona Monarch Massage

A butterfly and a lion are giving each other the traditional Hawaiian greeting of a "Honi", the experience and exchange of the breath of life.

The lion and the butterfly remind me of the delicate balance between being strong and being intuitive. I carry these principals with me to the massage table.

I attribute my ability to do deep tissue massage to the strength I obtained growing up on a farm and lifting the heavy coffee and macadamia nut bags alongside my brothers. My intuition as a therapist allows me to create a customized treatment to meet a person's individual needs, delivering massage with the strength of a lion and the gentleness of a butterfly.

I decided to start my traveling massage business because it’s important to me that my clients have the opportunity to spend a minimal of two hours after their massage absorbing the benefits of the treatment.

Instead of jumping into a car and sitting in traffic, my clients can roll right onto their own bed or sofa, sit in a hot tub or relax poolside with a book! I want to cut out your commute time so you can use that time for self care and maximizing your massage experience.

Like massage, farming is still a part of my life.
My husband, myself and our two boys live on our small family farm where we grow coffee, macadamia nuts and an assortment of tropical fruits. ‘Ohana (family) is important to me. The simple life of being barefoot in my garden helps recharge and rejuvenate me. It’s my self care.

I went to massage school when I was 19. I loved learning about anatomy and physiology. My plan was to use massage as a stepping stone to another health profession but it didn’t quite work out that way! My love for massage took over! I took college level anatomy and physiology and then spent most of my early twenty's taking advanced massage courses. I sought out professionals in the massage world and learned as much as I could from them by offering to give them massage in exchange for precious information and “secret techniques”.

I volunteered my time doing massage on elders in a community in ‘Oahu because I was told by a Lomi Lomi kumu (teacher) if I volunteered to work on the people of the community, he would teach me to do his style of Lomi Lomi. I was taught to treat every person on the massage table as if they where my ‘Ohana (family). My massage is my gift to share. When you are on my table you are like family.
